The pull-out splice box from EFB-Elektronik is used for the structured pick-up of splices and the clear management of multimode fibre optic connections in the 19-inch rack. The 1U version is designed for OM3 multimode 50/125 and combines a compact design with pre-assembled LC duplex couplings.
• 1U, 19-inch extendable design – Saves rack space and makes it easier to access the splice level during installation and maintenance.
• Front panel with 24 LC duplex couplings – Allows for tight, pre-terminated assembly for OM3 multimode connections.
• 48 prepared LC pigtails with LSZH jacket and 2 m length – Supporting clean splice guidance and reducing assembly effort.
The sheet steel housing in grey according to RAL 7035 is designed for clean guidance of the glass fibre lines. The LC duplex couplings are arranged vertically and have ceramic ferrule guides. Four splice cassettes, pre-assembled crimp/ANT splice holders and enclosed shrink splice holders support flexible and traceable splice organisation.
