The 19-inch extendable splice box from EFB-Elektronik is designed for the structured pick-up of splices and the clear management of single-mode fibre optic connections in the rack. With 1 U, front panel and housing, it can be compactly integrated into 482.6 mm systems and supports professional OS2 installations according to ITU-T G.652.D.
• 1U 19" pull-out design – Saves rack space and makes it easier to access the splice level for maintenance and removal.
• Front panel with 6 SC duplex couplings and 6 blanking plugs – Ensures pre-assembled, clean assembly and keeps unused positions closed.
• 12 LSZH jacketed SC pigtails with 2 m length – Reduces installation effort and supports orderly splice organisation.
The sheet steel enclosure in grey according to RAL 7035 is designed for professional installation in a 19-inch rack. The OS2 fibre class for single-mode 9/125, the ceramic ferrule guide and the SC duplex couplings marked in blue support use in structured single-mode environments. Pre-assembled crimp/ANT splice holders and enclosed shrink splice holders provide additional flexibility in splice organisation.
